Privacy
What we collect, and what we do not.
Last updated 9 August 2026. Written in plain English, because a policy nobody can read is not consent.
The short version
This website does not track you.
There are no analytics, no advertising pixels, no tracking cookies and no third party scripts following you around. Nothing on these pages builds a profile of you.
The only way we get your information is if you choose to send it: by email, by booking a call, or by filling in a form.
Who we are
The people responsible.
Yasmin A Darling Consultancy Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 13159368. Registered office: Stokescroft, Cossack Square, Nailsworth, Gloucestershire, GL6 0DZ.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller. You can contact us about anything on this page at yasmin@yasminadarling.com.
What we hold
Only what you send us.
If you email us
Your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever is in your message. Held in Google Workspace.
If you book a call
Your name, email and the time you chose, held by Calendly. Their privacy policy applies to that booking as well as ours.
If you become a client
What we need to do the work and to invoice you. Contact details, the scope of the work, and financial records.
Server logs
Our host, Cloudflare, keeps brief technical records of requests for security. We do not use these to identify anyone.
Why, and for how long
The legal bit, kept short.
We process enquiries because you asked us to, which is legitimate interest, and client work because we have a contract with you. Financial records are kept for six years because HMRC requires it.
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within two years. Client records are kept for six years after the work ends, then deleted.
We do not sell your information, we do not share it for marketing, and we do not pass it to anyone except the service providers named on this page.
Your rights
What you can ask for.
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict what we do with it, to have it sent to you in a portable form, and to object to us processing it.
Email yasmin@yasminadarling.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first, but it is your right either way.
If any part of this page is hard to read or use, tell us and we will send it to you in whatever format works. That is not a favour, it is a reasonable adjustment.
